Trip with Michele. Part 2: canoeing on the Zambezi
We went with a bus somewhere up the stream, far away from the Victoria Falls. On the way we saw the first giraff (of the trip). Most of the day we spend on the water, beside to breaks on small islands for refreshements and lunch. Before starting off, we got some instructions. 1) Avoid the Hippos 2) don't leave your hands in the water for too long. Crocodiles...
Can you see the hippos?

wow, it all looks amazing!!! not that sure though about going paddling in a small canoe in the same waters as hippoes and crocodiles.... though hippoes aren't supposed to be dangerous in water, since they are normally attacking when you get caught between them and the water as the water is their safety... crocos are another issue however, they are if anything even more dangerous in the water.... brrrr ;)
Miriam, now that I have seen the photos I have to come visit. IT LOOKS AMAZING....
Hugs and kisses
