tired but happy. spend most of the time in the car last week. Monday-Tuesday: field visit in Monze. Project of the HIV/AIDS Fund. Helping people to become independed from food aid. The project is called "food security". Visited with the local team more than 10 sites. goats, chicken and pigs... and most of times people who are happy, because they managed to grow more goats, chicken and pigs. Only 1 prefered to buy a bike and drink the money he got from selling 2 of the 3 pigs... well, you cant help people who dont want help and who do not want to change anything in their life. So 400km in 2 days and lots of work waiting from me once I was back in Lusaka. On Friday however I was back on the road for a meeting in Kabwe. Passed by also in Mpima, to see how the people in the project there are. another 300km. Total of the week 800km! So much about my contribution to the global warming... (have a look on a map if you do not know Zambia!!! Monze is in the South, Kabwe in the North of Lusaka). Now happy that its a long weekend. Monday off for two reasons: 1. board meeting of the HIV/AIDS Fund canceled 2. African Freedom day
big freedom hug

your work sounds very interesting mir!!! although a lot of travelling indeed.
i want to go travelling this weekend as we also have monday off (Pentecote), but N thinks that 3 days are only enough to go to Bern or Basel or so, while I wanted to go to Cinque Terre... oh well, will probably end up staying at home and being good environmentally friendly people afterall :)
